Decolonisation as a revolutionary concept which means "undoing colonialism"  has impacted Afrika.  It is largely based on the philosophy of Frantz Fanon who was born in Martinique on July 25 1925. His thoughts are the roots of the thinking of many on the reclamation of cultures amd freedp, after the experience of colonisation. Born in Martinique in the Carribeans, Frantz Fanon, the author of The Wretched of the Earth, greatly supported Algerian Liberation Front. According to Wikipedia and many other sources, Fanon is known as a radical existential humanist thinker on the issue of decolonization and the psychopathology of colonization. "Fanon supported the Algerian struggle for independence and became a member of the Algerian National Liberation Front. His life and works have incited and inspired anti-colonial liberation movements for more than four decades."
